With around 47years (yes, she is nearly 50!) of animal communication and over 10 years professional full time, Joanne has undeniable experience through the connection with animals. Her love for the animals has never wavered and her ability to showcase and teach others how to connect is truly magical. Joanne has taught thousands of people from all over the world to connect on a deeper level with animals and dedicate her life's work to supporting the wellbeing of our planets beautiful creatures.
But, there is more to Joanne than you may know...
Here are some interesting facts;
Joanne is a proud vegan, meaning she does not consume anything from an animal, i.e meat, fish, dairy, eggs, honey. And will do her best to only use non-animal products where possible.
The light bulb went off in my head one day and I thought, why on earth would I want to HURT an animal when I claim to LOVE them? I started to realise that by paying for meat etc you were actually paying someone else to MURDER that animal just for your taste buds, and yes I do say 'murder an animal' because that animal wants to live, just as we do. What right had we as humans got to do this? It soon made me realise how much social conditioning can affect your choices, I mean, I grew up eating meat everyday including dairy, well I thought I could never give up milk and cheese, but when I looked deeper at the industry, I could not believe what I was seeing, it was the moment when everything made sense to me and boom! 'AWAKE', I literally changed over night! I researched all the vegan options, food, products, lifestyle and choices, I decided no longer could I participate in the killing of so many animals and the destruction of the planet with my choices, and so I became VEGAN. To say it was the BEST decision I have ever made is an understatement, it not only lifted a veil of denial over my food choices, but it healed me too, I say healed because I had previously suffered a personal breakdown after a 14 year relationship end, including very dark depression, panic attacks and low self esteem. To think this could happen to me almost seems impossible as I was one of the most confident, happy people you could meet, but it did and I struggled for years, then when I changed my lifestyle and diet over to purely plant based, I can say it transformed my mental health back to a confident, happy person with a new perspective on doing good for myself and the planet. It is truly wonderful! Try it! :) x Joanne x
Joanne and her partner Dave are eco warriors, together they have a keen interest in eco and sustainability, helping the planet and it's animals to thrive. Joanne and Dave grow organic vegetables, edible flowers and micro-greens within a permaculture ethos and system, working with nature not against it. They are now keen to find a plot of land and home where they can set down some roots using solar power, wind power and water harvesting living as 'green' as possible, as well as establishing an organic farm of micro-greens, baby leaf and edible flowers.

Joanne is also a keen cook and whilst before becoming a vegan it was still an interest, it has developed into a passion ever since. She spends most days creating some magical and delicious food that is solely made from plants and normally where possible, from her own garden.
People ask me all the time when I say I am vegan 'But what on earth do you eat?' and I laugh because I eat more variety of foods now than I ever ate before and trust me when I say I LOVE food! It's amazing because I never ever feel deprived of anything, not even bacon! no, I feel like now, I have an abundance of delicious foods with incredible flavours and textures that I could never of even dreamed of. I mean, before I was vegan I thought these people lived on lettuce and chewed on carrots all day lol, but no, it's unbelievable easy these days to have and replace virtually everything from burgers, sausages, Pizza, cream, ice cream, cheese and sweets and junk foods (not healthy lol) so the aim for Dave and myself is to eat more whole food plant based meals and to stop eating the naughty vegan junk food such as cakes, chocolate and delicious creamy sauces. In fact, my dream once we are settled in a place to live, is to incorporate some plant based cooking courses on site, where I can show people our growing techniques, harvesting the greens from the land and teaching people how to make delicious recipes, without the need of any animal products, as I feel lots of my clients who adore animals just do not know where to start or what to eat being vegan and so can't imagine giving up their usual food stuffs. So I feel it is just education and cooking courses that will open people's eyes and hearts to the incredible choices and variety of foods and the positive effects it has on your own body and the planet. I want to be able to inspire some of the biggest meat and dairy lovers that a plant based lifestyle is enjoyable and that the animals deserve life.
Joanne also loves to make and give her family her delicious homemade jams, chutneys and willow baskets, they may be rustic but they are always made with love.
Joanne is also a keen gardener, her favourite flowers are hydrangeas, bee and butterfly pollinators such as borage, lavender, fruit trees etc. And a host of wildlife friendly plants. In 2017 Joanne and Dave built a small wildlife pond to encourage frogs and other species into their growing area as natural pest controllers, to their delight in 2018 the small homemade pond is full of tadpoles and insects all beneficial to the site. Dave also made some bee and butterfly homes to encourage them to stay.
This is a lifestyle, and one we absolutely love and embrace.
