No, I have over the years taught myself how to turn my communication on and off, it is not easy let me assure you, but, if I didn't, I would never get any peace! However it is quite common for the odd animal to connect to me if there is an emergency or they feel it's very important that their owners to receive a message. I adore talking with the animals, but I also enjoy quiet time.
How do you stay detached and not emotional?
The truth is, I don't, I feel the animals emotions as you might, I also have been on a regular basis been in flood of tears when connecting with animals. I'm human, some people don't cry but I work in an emotional way, so tears and emotional pain is expected. Let's face it I can cry at the most ridiculous programs on TV!
How do you cope with the abused animals?
I try never judge people, (although in cases of animal cruelty it's hard not to think the worst thoughts) I work to help the animals overcome their abusive past, heal their pain. People need to be educated about animals, the more people learn to communicate the bigger the pressure will be to change the concept that animals don't think, feel, hurt etc I pray for the day that animals are treated with respect, love and compassion.
Can anyone learn how to communicate on a psychic level with animals?
YES YES YES, we all have psychic ability, it lays dormant within most of us as we grow older, but if you re-awaken this natural ability you will be amazed at how responsive it is to the animals around you. It's sooo easy, everyone can learn.
I'm worried that if I develop my psychic side I will start seeing or hearing ghosts!
Do not be concerned, you are only opening up to the world of animal communication, it is on a slightly different frequency to full mediumship (talking with spirits) so it would be highly unlikely to happen unless you develop that side.

I heard that you are a 'medium' too, why do you only work with animals.
Two reason why I only work with animals, firstly I ADORE them, and secondly, I feel there are enough very good mediums out there, the animals need as many communicators to help than as possible, it's so important to support the animals and their needs.
I chose the animals to work with, but obviously still have my mediumship ability. I use it only if needed in emergencies.
Are you a veggie?
Ummm, this question is a real difficult one, it is something I have battled with for many years.
Ok, I will try and explain, do I eat meat? no, did I? yes (she gulps!) Do I eat fish? very rarely, but I do :( So am I a veggie?
Not really???? (Although some people would say I am)
If someone say's they don't eat meat but eat fish, they are NOT veggie's, fish think just as other animals do, I have had many amazing conversations with wonderful fish, believe me they are just as intelligent!
So what about my own animals? I feed them, beef, chicken, fish, pork, turkey and lots of other meats, I also have leather seats in my car, I wear fabulous shoes etc etc the list goes on and on. So its a contradiction isn't it??? How could I call myself a true veggie? I would be an idiot to do so, so hence my dilemma on this tricky subject.
I absolutely 100% believe that we HAVE TO make our meat producers wake up and understand animal welfare, ALL animals deserve freedom, and compassion. Meat and other animal products will always be required in life, but there is absolutely no excuse for animals that suffer. We are a long way from solving this problem, but fight we will.
So as you can see, the question is a difficult one, I find too many contradictions with it.
I NEVER judge people's decision to eat meat, it really is a personal choice (I get preached to on a regular basis) but I am keen to learn how to improve my knowledge on the subject, and continue to improve animal welfare to the best of my ability.
For you Vegan's out there, crikey I take my hat off to you guys, I tried and lasted about three weeks! I know I am useless!
Do animals know they are going to be eaten?
Due to my own personal guilt complex regarding being a real veggie, I have communicated with many farming animals about this.
The overwhelming concern is their current state of welfare, those who were living below acceptable standards begged for help, those who were organic, free to roam and cared for were really content.
Both sets knew they were eventually going to be meat animals, both sets saw it as a necessary life cycle, they talked about the next life and how it is as it is.
I was pretty amazed they were more interested about living in the moment, that they would deal with death as and when it arrived.
The animals all knew what was going to happen, but welfare whilst here on the earth plane was much more important.
Do animals feel scared before death?
Yes, if it's not of their doing, all the animals I spoke to regarding slaughter spoke of their fears, it is a natural feeling to fight for life and animals are no different.
Animals that have a natural death sometimes are aware day's before it is about to happen and can pre warn us through communication. I have been honored to have connected with many of these animals, messages of love and requests for their final days have been received and acted upon. I truly feel humbled by such wonderful souls.
Most animals see death as just another phase in life, moving on to a new chapter, starting again. they again have spoken of living in the moment. Maybe we should learn from this.
What do your friends and family think of what you do?
At first when I decided to go public so to speak, most thought I was totally barking mad! but eventually when they could see for their own eyes the good work I did with the animals, they came round to the idea. Everyone should be able to feel free to make their own minds up. It's about understanding, you have got to remember we have been taught that TALKING WITH ANIMALS IS IMPOSSIBLE! our natural ability has been squeezed deep within us, it's time to release the power within and show people IT IS POSSIBLE TO TALK WITH ANIMALS.
Do all animals wish to talk with humans?
In my experience yes, however sometimes when you tune into an animal they will ask you to come back later, this is often due to them being busy, maybe they are eating or hunting. But eventually you will connect.

Can all species of animal talk?
Yes, absolutely, I have spoken with all types of amazing, intelligent and very funny animals. To name a few; rats, mice, fish, reptiles, spiders, guinea pigs, rabbits, dolphins, dogs, cats, ponies, pigs, cow's, sheep, chickens, ducks, pheasants, doves, donkey's, monkey's, camels, elephants, insects and a whole range of other fabulous sentient creatures. All animals are capable of telepathic communication.

Why do you show animals? Isn't it cruel??
My animals ALWAYS without doubt tell me what they wish to do, I have been showing both dogs and now cats for the last 12-15 years. Believe me there is nothing worse than seeing an un-happy animal being forced to show, they either love it or hate it! Many times I have whispered in an owners ear to stop showing due to the animals dislike, some took it on board others didn't, but at least I tried.
As for my own animals, Mozart (now passed) taught me how to be a handler! I was useless! in fact he taught me everything about dog showing and I am forever grateful, 4 borzois, only two of my dogs wished to be in the ring, my last, is my beautiful, intelligent, super gorgeous Rosie!!! She is the star, I am merely an accessory for her (like a handbag!) to parade around the ring! trust me, she really knows how to work her stuff! If you have ever had the pleasure of seeing her perform, you will know this dog LOVES it! she is 5 times Challenge certificate winner, 5 times reserve certificate winner, various group placing's and loads more! CRUFTS 2010 March 12 will be her last outing as she is sadly retiring from the ring due to her age. Please come see us! Hall 5. Be blown away with her movement as she takes me for a run! (better get my running shoes on!!!!! not so glamorous!)
As for my cats, well Chana was chosen for showing, but after a very successful kitten career she decided she would rather stay at home with the boys :( sad for me? oh yes! she truly is stunning!) but as with all my animals, their feeling come first.
However, luckily for me ASPEN soon arrived!!!! and WOW, what a show off, he adores going to cat shows, loves being handled, craves the attention and is doing fantastic! So, as long as he is happy, I will show him and be his slave on his outings lol.
